"kodomonomori-ten" exhibit space of 12m in diameter set up in Nerima-ku government office 1F atrium

Nerima Ward's Children's Forest is a green space that takes advantage of the nature of Nerima, such as woodland and farmland, with the concept of nature, adventure and exchange. Among them, children are in touch with nature, creating a system where they can find and enjoy their own play. The Nerima Ward Children's Forest Exhibition is a workshop display held at the Nerima ward office atrium for the purpose of notifying the concerned facilities. The fruit shelf which is also a symbol of green and facilities expressing the original scenery of Nerima Ward is arranged in a circle. I imagined that the scene where children run around in it and enjoys manufacturing will be a scene from all directions.

02

In the internal open space, children install various devices which can be idle.

03

The wall adopts Ondulin (corrugated plastic sheet made in France) of the feel of texture that is easy for a child in the start of the circumferential planting zone.

04

I provided the device that the string-related plant every season including the kiwi crawled for the upper circumferential planting zone.

plan

In order to make large trees stand up, trees are planted in curing pots, and they contain enough moisture to prevent drainage during the exhibition period. Stand up to cover their base is done with ondurin (a corrugated sheet made in France), and a circular circle is secured with a wooden jig. The top of the pot is covered with veneer board and directed to the soil surface by cedar skin. The circular interior was covered with cypress chips, and we planned to enjoy the feeling of walking and aroma.
